As Lollapalooza sweats it out in Chicago this weekend, Fox News Chicago decided to kick things off with a little ditty about BTTV on the 9 o’clock news. Take a peak and watch a couple interviews with BTTV members from Chi-Town.

We are also plotting and planning our August BTTV happy hour (check out pics from our last one). We managed to get the Austin Bleet Up crew around a table to knock back some libations and mind meld. Greatness ensued on drink round #2, then a third  round came, a camera appeared and the sexy happened.

“You simply cannot sit back and wait for a record label, manager, booking agent or anything in-between to step in and “save the day” for you or your band. They simply don’t have the time to weed through the thousands of Myspace links they receive every week. You have give them a reason to work with you by showing initiative. Record labels, managers, and booking agents can help you, but you do not have to rely on them to be successful.”
