Bands! Soon you will be able to take credit cards via your smart phone! This is kind of huge if you’re looking to squeeze out some extra cash via the merch table.
How? A start-up called Square created a super simple solution the plugs into a phone’s headphone jack. It is still invite-only but you can follow them to keep up for when it goes public. Watch the video for a demo.
