I live alone in a decent sized one-bedroom apartment -- big enough for me, my dog, and destitute rock stars who won't overstay their welcomes. I also keep beer in my vegetable bin (if you like beer) and live next to a farmer's market (if you like vegetables.) I think an omelet is a fine way to start the day, or end it. Please put the toilet seat down.
